Location: Ritz-Carlton at Pentagon City
The newly married Amy & Duncan Van Buskirk were so excited to celebrate their Wedding Reception at the Ritz-Carlton at Pentagon City to the sounds of the 80's. Friends and Family had gathered from all around to share in their special moment. Indeed, this Wedding Reception was very special, and Amy & Duncan had chosen a soundtrack that highlighted those special moments in 80's music.
The Grand Entrance was highlighted with an interesting introduction to the Bridesmaids with Girls Just Want To Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper. Following the Bridesmaids were the Groomsmen, who entered to the sounds of Thin Lizzy with Boys Are Back In Town. Duncan was welcomed with Sharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top, and his lovely Bride, Amy, was adorned with Pure Prairie League's Amie, which was a most suitable selection.
The song that Amy & Duncan chose for their first dance was Groovy Kind Of Love by Phil Collins. When dinner was served, DJ Carl and DJ Jeremy entertained the guests with an upbeat mix of 80's Classics which got the guests itching to get on the dance floor! Once dancing officially started (we say officially because some of the guests just could not wait to dance and hit the dance floor early!), everyone was dancing the night away and singing along to their favorite 80's Dance Hits!
